Navigating the Airport

Departing from the US:

When you arrive at the airport, the first thing you should do is proceed to the check-in counter (or self-service kiosk) to check-in for your flight and submit any checked baggage. You will need to present your passport in order to receive your boarding pass and baggage receipt.

Once you have checked in, you will need to proceed to the security checkpoint. Here, you will need to present your passport and boarding pass to the security staff. Then, you will place your carry-on luggage and personal items on a conveyor belt to be scanned by the TSA. After collecting your items, you may proceed to your gate.

Feel free to enjoy the various shops and restaurants while you wait for your flight to board! Most airlines begin boarding approximately 45 minutes prior to the scheduled departure, so it is recommended to be waiting at the gate around this time or earlier.

Arriving at Your Destination:

On arrival and upon disembarking the plane, follow the airport signs to reach customs. Here, you will present your passport and boarding pass to a staff member. (Alternatively, you may be directed to pass through an automated screening booth.) Your picture may be taken for documentation purposes.

Once approved, please proceed to the baggage carousel to collect any checked baggage. (The flight staff will advise the carousel number upon landing. You can also check the boards above each carousel to locate your flight number.)

Then, follow the signs to exit the airport and locate your transportation. If you selected transfers as part of your package with Destify, the details of how and where to locate your driver can be found here on your Dashboard.

On arrival at the resort, please proceed to the front desk to present your passport and check-in. Most rooms becomes available beginning at 3PM local time; if you arrive earlier, you may request for the front desk to hold your luggage until your room is available. Feel free to enjoy the public areas of the resort until that time, such as the bars, restaurants, shops, and pools.

Returning Home:

The process of departing your destination should be very similar to your experience at the US domestic airport as described above.

Similarly, arriving at the US airport will be similar to the arrival process described above.

*Please note that this is a general representation of what you may encounter. Your actual experience at the airport may vary depending on the unique configuration of each facility.
